Magnetic treatments for back pain relief
Posted In Magnetic treatments |Posted By Kat on July 7, 2007 at 8:33 am
I’ve been having lower back / leg problems since June of 2006, also carpal tunnel symptoms in my right wrist/ hand. MRI showed 1 bulging and 1 protruding discs in cervical area; 2 bulging and 2 protruding discs in lumbar area (all with mild compression of a nerve); also a left medial meniscus tear. I’ve been to the Chiropractor for IDD (decompression) therapy 3x a week since the beginning of March.
I’m no worse, the pain is definitely greatly improved and I’m not as tired, I am sleeping better. Yet, I am not able to return to my normal activities. Running the vacuum sweeper wears me out and makes my lower back and legs ache/tired/weak. I’m very involved with my son’s Cub scout group (hiking, camping, etc.). Riding in the car for more than 30 minutes makes it very difficult to walk.
I was on prednisone from late November 2006 to mid January 2007. Since then I’ve used only OTC pain relievers , with caution. I am a registered nurse. I know that exercise & diet are very important to improving all of this. I’m sceptical also. Can you send me some further information/suggestions? Thanks for your assitance.

Hello Virginia
Unfortunately it is very common for nurses to suffer with back problems.
The type of work that they do put incredible strain on the back over the
years and can cause many problems later on, anything from mild back ache
to sciatica and herniated discs.
Magnetic therapy is very effective at treating back pain, as long as you
are using the correct magnetic products and the recommended way; magnets can reduce
pain by huge amounts.
The pain in your legs is most likely caused by the compression on the
nerves in your back, so by treating the back you should also see an
improvement in your legs.
From what you have told me this is a long term chronic condition, that has
severely affected your life, stopped you from doing everyday activities and
has caused you to regularly use pain relieving medication. This type of
condition would require the highest strength and amount of magnets to
treat it effectively.
This would mean using more than just one item. Combining magnetic products
increases their overall effectiveness and really relieves much higher and
longer term pain much more quickly than just using one device on its own.
I would advise a magnetic back treatment package especially designed for this type
of condition. It should include a high strength magnetic back belt to be
worn continuously, a high strength magnetic bed pad, a magnetic water wand
for magnetising your cold drinks, a gel pack that you can pop in the
freezer to use as an ice pack and a hand held massage tool to allow you to
frequently massage the area yourself.
The combination of constantly using magnets on the outside of your body
throughout the day and night by using the magnetic belt and bed pad, will
provide the body with a source of magnetism during the day while you are
out and about and an extra source at night when the body is relaxed and
more efficient at absorbing the magnetic field. The addition of drinking
magnetized water not only helps to detox the body, reduce inflammation in
the digestive system, lower high blodd pressure and cholestrol level it
will also increase the overall effectiveness of all of your magnetic products by up to 10 times.
The massage and ice really explain themselves. When you have a back
problem that causes aggravation to a nerve regular use of gentle massage
and ice treatment can really help to ease the pressure off that nerve.
If you need any further help or advice please get back to me.
Regards
Kat
