I was diagnosed with Atrial Flutter two years ago and had Flutter Ablation in November 2006 so to all intents and purposes I am 90% cured but could in the future go into Atrial Fibrillation.

I also have high Blood Pressure now and take Ace Inhibitors. Would there be a problem with using amagnetic mattress cover or pad? I thought it might be the best thing because I have pain all over my body ie  Neck and shoulders Spine Hip acchilles and hands elbows mostly RSI probably because of my job and general family arthritic problems.

Not ready to buy it yet but later in the year when I have some spare cash. I am currently using the shoulder magnet on all different parts of my body where I can; and it does seem to ease the pain.  Gloria Capocci

Dear Gloria

With the condition you have you will be fine to use magnetic therapy. Healing magnets won’t interfere with your heart condition or medication.

The only people who can’t use magnetic therapy are;
people with a pacemaker or internal defibrilator
children under 7 years old
women who are pregnant
people who are undergoing chemo/radio therapy

The magnetic mattress cover is a good way to treat all over the body if you already use magnets. You have to take into consideration the fact that with a magnetic mattress cover you are only exposed to magnets during the night. Once you get out of bed and are not in contact with the magnets the effects will begin to fade and during the day your pain and discomfort will have a chance to build back up.

We usually recommend that people who suffer with all over pain, try to treat one area first using a magnetic product on that one area day and night. This not only shows you how effective they are but allows your body to build up the amount of magnetism absorbed.

Try treating one area, possibly your neck and shoulders. You would need a high strength stainless steel necklace, water wand, and possibly a pillow insert. Or for your back and hips a magnetic back belt, water wand and possibly a bed pad. Once you have felt the benefits from using these magnetic treatments you would be in a much better position to use the magnetic mattress cover.

I know you said that you are using a magnet from your shoulder but you do need to make sure that your are using medical magnets that are strong enough. Drinking magnetized water will help to increase the amount of magnetism your body can absorb.

Kat
