Last week I got a really interesting question via email from a guy called shahrir. And I’m sure it’s a question that many people ask themselves when they are considering whether to purchase a magnetic bracelet or not. Here’s the question and the answer:

Question::
How do you know if a magnetic bracelet is original? How do you know it is not a fake one? shahrir hj ahmad

I think what Shahrir wanted to ask was, with so many magnetic therapy magnets retailers out there all claiming to have the strongest magnetic products, which one do you believe. How would you know that the products are really as strong as the retailer profress it is? The definite way to find out the real magnetic strength of a product would be to use a gaussmeter. Unfortunately, it is not a device that you will find in the average household!

Here’s the advice that Kat gave Shahrir to help him decide where he should get his magnetic bracelet from.

Hi,

The only way to know for certain that you are getting genuine magnetic products, a magnetic bracelet in your case, that are of a certain strength and are designed for the area that you want to treat, is to purchase them from a reputable retailer.

Whenever you buy magnetic products always ask what strength the magnets are and never accept any item unless it is specifically designed for the area you suffer with. So a magnetic bracelet for wrist and hand pain, a magnetic necklace for
neck and shoulder pain, a back belt for back pain and so on.

Never use a magnetic bracelet to treat any other area of the body except the wrist or hands. And if your suppliers tells you that the bracelet will help your pain all over your body, do not waste your money as this is not true.

If in any doubt always check.

Regards
Kat

The golden rule when purchasing any magnetic product is to ask as many questions as possible. Do not comit to buy anything until all your queries have been answered. You should also look for suppliers that gives you a long money back guarantee period as magnetic therapy to relieve pain can take a while to have an effect; months in some cases. It also helps to speak to qualified magnetic therapists and other health professionals who understands how to use therapeutic magnets for pain relief.
