If you are wearing a magnetic bracelet that has one of those 3000 gauss rare earth magnet clasps that is stronger than any of the other magnetic beads that are part of the design, does that cancel out the strength of the other magnetic beads? Which only makes the total magnetic gauss of the bracelet 3000 gauss? I’m so confused as there are many other conflicting websites that say different things so it’s had to know. Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer:
I’m not really sure where you have read this information. If you can let me know then I would be able to answer your question much easier.

The clasp of any magnetic bracelet becomes part of the design when you wear it on your wrist whether it is a watch type clasp, a tie fastening or a magnetic clasp.

The designs that include magnetic clasps are generally the hematite beaded magnetic bracelets as they are lighter in weight and a magnetic clasp will be strong enough to secure the design.

It is generally not as imoprtant to ensure the magnetic strength of the clasp as it would be the magnetic beads but any magnetic field that the clasp throws out will be absorbed along with the rest of the magnetic bracelet but it is usually not as strong.

One magnetic field does not cancel out the other so it would make no detrimental difference as to the strength or type of clasp that the magnetic bracelet uses.

I hope this has helped but if you need any more advice or information then please get back in touch.

Regards
Kat
