How does magnetic therapy treat your pain?

Healing magnets affect your body in different ways. One way magnetic therapy works to heal is through improving the blood flow around an injury or wound.
Magnets are composed of metal alloys such as iron, nickel or cobalt and will attract many different types of metallic particles. The blood contains iron and when therapeutic magnets are placed on the skin the magnetic field penetrates through the skin and into the surrounding tissues and blood stream. The iron in the blood is attracted to the magnetic field, this causes movement within the blood stream and the increased activity causes the blood flow to improve.
The increase in blood flow is localised to the area where the magnets are placed, unless the magnets are placed directly over a major artery such as the radial artery (the wrist pulse point) or the carotid artery (the pulse point in the neck). Magnetic Therapy For Relieving Inflammation

What happens when I have inflammation
The inflammatory reaction is one of the body’s oldest defence mechanisms. When damage occurs the body’s automatic defence system starts the inflammatory process within seconds. Blood flow is firstly increased at the point of injury, the blood vessels widen to allow oxygen, clotting agents and white blood cells to penetrate the damaged tissues. Over a period of hours the concentration of white blood cells increases at the injury site (white blood cells fight infection).
Individual cells are affected by the inflammatory process. Extra fluid migrates from the blood vessels into the damaged cells; this begins the process of disrupting the ionic balance of the cell. The chemical balance of the cell changes and cellular degeneration begins. The presence of extra fluid, white blood cells, increased blood flow with in the tissues causes the damaged area to enlarge and swell, this is commonly known as oedema.
How healing magnets fight inflammation?
When therapeutic magnets are placed over an area of inflammation, the magnetic field penetrates through the skin and deep into the tissues and blood stream. Continue reading Magnetic Therapy For Relieving Inflammation…

Here’s 3 Ways To Quickly Start Reducing Your Pain And Discomfort Today
I want you to be able to start reducing the pain you feel right now in the next few hours.
Here are my top 3, non magnetic, tips for quickly relieving any kind of pain:Â
1. Apply gentle massage:
You do not need to be a trained massage therapist to do this. Simply knead the painful area with your thumbs for around 10 minutes. You will immediately start to stimulate the blood flow and encourage more oxygen and pain killing agents to the area.
Massage soothes muscle pain and encourages healing in damaged tissues, BUT the effects are only short term and ideally you should aim to massage the area gently for 10 minutes 4 times a day. If you are unable to massage with your hands (because you have pain and stiffness in your fingers) you can use a special Nukkles massager instead.
2. Use hot and cold packs:
You can place a hot pack on your painful area for 5-10 minutes and follow it immediately with a cold pack for another 5-10 minutes. Heat not only warms the area, but the warmth dilates your blood vessels allowing more nutrient rich blood to flow. Heat also soothes and relaxes sore and aching muscles.
A cold wrap will continue to soothe a painful area and help to reduce swelling. You should always use heat and cold together as heat can agitate swelling and the cold will eliminate any agitation caused. Continue reading 3 Quick and Easy Natural Pain Relief Treatments…

Magnetic therapy is a natural way to treat ailments in both humans and animals. It is 100% safe, drug free and has no unwanted side effects. Therapeutic Magnets alleviate pain, increase blood circulation and speed up the healing process by reducing inflammation in the body. Small high strength healing magnets are placed on the body close to the point of pain.
They can be applied in the forms of magnetic straps/ wraps, pillows, jewellery, mattress covers and water. It works well as a therapy alone or in-conjunction with both natural and conventional therapies.
Magnetic therapy is not new. It has been around since 2000 BC and has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Cleopatra is reported to have slept on magnets to keep herself youthful. Modern day celebrity devotees include Bill Clinton, Cherie Blair and Anthony Hopkins.
The western world has been slow to pick up on the powerful healing force of magnets and it wasn’t until the early 1900’s that magnets first began to be used in the UK. It is now used worldwide to treat the symptoms of many common ailments.
