Magnetic Bracelet For Elbow Pain

My mum bought me a magnet ball bracelet but lost the information pack.
I have elbow pain and don’t know which way to wear the bracelet
i.e. with the balls facing up or down. - Margaret Ronald

Hello,
To be perfectly honest, I don’t think it matters.

I am always very dubious when companies say things like this, wear the
bracelet with the balls on the top of the wrist to treat….., wear the
bracelet with the balls underneath the wrist to treat….. etc.

I have studies and gained qualifications in magnetic therapy and I have
never come across this theory. It seems very strange that whether the
magnets are on the top of the wrist or not it would make a difference to
the treatment.

The main things to be concerned with when using magnetic therapy is the
strength and amount of magnets you use and wear you use them.

Contrary to popular belief, a bracelet worn on the wrist is only going to
help with the wrist, hand and arm, if it is of a high strength it can also
help with the elbow.

Magnets need to be of a strength of at least 800 gauss as a minimum. The
more pain you are in the higher strength of magnet you will need.

Also you need to get magnets as close to the point of pain as possible so,
a high strength bracelet will help with the elbow, but if it isn’t high
stregth then you will need to get the magnets closer, you could use an
elbow strap for example. Similarly, necklaces for neck pain, back belts
for back pain, insoles for foot pain and so on.

Magnetic Mattress Relieves OsteoArthritis Pain

Will the mattress pad work for someone like me that has had multiple back and knee surgeries and osteoarthritis just about everywhere?  I’m only 47 (been in the healthcare field for almost 30 years) and I’m tired of DRUGS!!!
Respectfully, Christy Crawford

Hello

Thank you for your email.

The magnetic mattress cover will help with pain, stiffness, inflammation, immobility and poor circulation in the upper and lower back, hips, thigh, knees, legs, ankles and feet.

It doesn’t matter how many operations you have had, if you are still in pain or discomfort then you can benefit from magnetic therapy.

Are you using any other magnetic products?

The best way to benefit from magnetic therapy is to use the magnets 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So a mattress cover is great but to gain the most benefit from this treatment you also need to be using products during the day as well.

So as an example, you mentioned a back problem. You would wear a magnetic back belt during the day, sleep on a magnetic pad or mattress cover at night and to increase the overall effectiveness even further you can drink magnetised water.

Alternatively, if you wanted to treat somewhere else chose a product that you can use as close the the area you want to treat as possible.

Using a magnetic water wand to magnetise all of your cold drinks, will help even further, especially if you have a chronic or long term condition.

Kat

Magnetic therapy products are becoming very popular as a treatment for pain. There are hundreds of online retailers all offering supposedly high strength magnetic products. But as an end user,  how do you know who is telling the truth about the strength of their magnetic product. Here’s the answer.

Hi,

How do I know the magnetic braclet I purchased, has the said amount of gauss, 4 x 1500? I really don’t know what I’m buying, I’m taking the vendors word. Is there a test for magnets easily accessible. I want to purchase a magnetic pillow cover and mattress pad, what do you suggest? thank you Pat Johnston

There really isn’t an easy accessible way to measure magnetic strength.
There is an instrument for it but it is a very large expensive piece of
equipment and really used by manufacturers or for industrial use.

In my opinion the best way to be sure you are getting a good quality
product is by asking questions. A reputable retails of magnetic products
will be able to tell you the strength of their magnets and whether it is a
surface strength or the manufacturing strength (some times known as a core
gauss strength). Continue reading Magnetic bracelets for pain relief…

I sustained a chip fracture to the upper end of the humerus bone in my right arm 7 weeks ago due to being pulled over by a bolting horse. I am being seen by a physiotherapist, and have exercises to do to re-establish movement in my shoulder. I have pain in my first finger, thumb, wrist, elbow, upper arm, and shoulder (back and front) and wonder what type of magnet therapy would be useful to help speed the recovery of the soft tissues. Julie McHugh
Hi Julie,

The best thing to do is to use healing magnets as close to the area of pain as possible.

magnetic bracelet and magnetic necklaceBecause your pain is in your shoulder and down the arm and into your
hands, you will be best to get the magnets at both ends. A high strength magnetic necklace and a high strength magnetic bracelet will work togther to treat from the shoulder down and the wrist up.

The stainless steel magnetic bracelets and necklaces on our website each contain a 3,000 gauss magnet in each link. The high strength magnetism will penetrate the skin and tissues and will help to relieve pain and inflammation and also aid with the repair process by encouraging new cell growth. magnetic therapy for meniere’s disease

I have neck pain on and off but can never turn my head all the way without pain. I also suffer from migraines and have had them for 32 years but they do not come on very often now. My big problem is meniere’s disease. I have had it for a year and it is under control now; but as I understand, it only gets worse as time goes on. There is no cure. It is a build up of fluid in ear causing dizziness, nausea and loss of hearing.

I wondering if magnetic therapy treatments would help any of this especially the meniere’s disease. The headache problem is almost gone finally after 32 years any help would be appreciated. thank u
Gerard Shannon

Hello Gerard

All of your problems seem to focus around the head and neck area, so this is where we need to concentrate the magnets.

I recommend that you use a magnetic water wand so that you can magnetise all of your cold drinks, sleep at night with a magnetic pillow insert inside your pillow case and wear a high strength magnetic necklace during the day.

These 3 magnetic healing products combined together provide a superb natural treatment for the neck and head area. It will help with headaches, sleeplessness, neck pain, shoulder pain and can also help with tinnitus and meniere’s disease.

magnetic necklacesThe magnetised water will allow the body to absorb the benefits of the magnetism from the inside through the lining of the digestive system and into the blood stream. This not only speeds up the time it takes for you to feel the benefits but also increases the overall effectiveness of any other magnetic therapy products that you use. Magnetic bracelets cannot treat shoulder pain

Hi,
I currently have a problem with my left shoulder (rotator cuff tendonitis) and have been looking at your web site initially to investigate magnetic bracelets.  From what I have read it looks as though they are not the way forward for helping with my shoulder.

A friend has recommended a Rayma bracelet that appears to use some form of electro-polarisation.  Is this worth considering or is it really another magnetic bracelet?
Regards, Steve Dean.

Hello Steve

I don’t think a bracelet on it’s own is going to be the best pain treatment for you anyway.

Therapeutic magnets work best when they are placed directly on the area of pain or as close to it as possible. The magnetic bracelet is too far away from the shoulder to be of much use on it’s own. You need to get magnets closer. Continue reading Magnetic bracelets cannot treat shoulder pain…
