Is it possible for medical magnets to help with the treatment of cancer in human and animal? Here’s a question that we received by email a few weeks ago and the answer:

Hello,
My dog has been diagnosed with bone cancer at the top of his tibia. I have
him om k-9 immunity trans factor and omegas. I am giving him cancer diet
food. I am wanting to know if there is anything magnetic therapy can do
to help. I have got info against and for but don’t know where to find
magnets or if it is a bad idea to use. Please help me with any info about
this. Mary Beckman and Patch

Dear Mary and Patch

I am very sorry to hear about your illness Patch.

Unfortunately, there is very little magnetic therapy can do when treating cancer.

Has the vet offered any treatment?

In cases of terminal cancer where there is no hope of recovery magnets can
help to ease the pain that the person or animal is suffering until the end.

If there is hope of a recovery for Patch then I would not use magnets at
this point. It is thought that one of the benefits of magnetic therapy is
that it encourages new cell growth. This is generally a good thing for
most people as it will result in healing but for cancer sufferers it could
mean that it may promote the cancer to grow which obviously is not going
to be good news.

None of this is for definite, as it hasn’t been fully tested for obvious
reasons, but we have to air on the side of caution.

If you need any more help or advice please get back in touch.

I wish you both well.

Best Wishes
Kat

Magnetic Bracelet Stops Pain

Hi,
I have worn one of your magnetic bracelets on my right arm for more than a
year. It has stopped the pain I used to get mid way between my elbow and
wrist but I still get pain and swelling in the knuckle of my first finger.

Can I do more?  Secondly, three weeks ago I broke the scaphoid bone in my
right hand and have been in a cast since and will be until August 30. Thus
I have not been wearing the bracelet because I thought it would interfer
with my watch if worn on my left arm.  I have noticed that I am feeling
tired throughout the day and wondered if this was a cause of not wearing
the magnets.

Do you think a magnetic pillow pad would be of benefit? Is
there something else I could wear until my broken scaphoid heals?  I was
with a friend yesterday evening who had recently returned from Ireland
where a friend of his had stuck two magnets to his chest and two to his
back. Have you heard of this? I look forward to your comments. Kind
regards, Nigel Parker.

Hello Nigel

Thank you for your email.

Sorry to hear that you have been in the wars.

You could try wearing medical magnets above the point of the plaster cast. Maybe a magnetic
elbow strap, just until the cast comes off and then you can go back to
using your magnetic bracelet. This will also help your bones to heal faster.

You may be feeling tired because of your body healing, possibly beacuse
you have stopped using the magnets. The magnetic pillow will help if you have
problems sleeping at night time.

You may feel better within yourself if you were to drink magnetised water
as this will allow the body to absorb magnetism from the inside and it has
been proven to help with detox and to give a boost of energy among other
things.

I have only heard of one other case in which people wear magnets on the
chest and back and that was for the treatment of asthma. Of course if he
had pain on the area he had placed the magnets then that would also be
effective.

Kat

Magnetic Therapy Gave Me Back My Freedom

“How I Vanquished All Over Body Pain” by Dee Parson (RN Dip MT MC)

Eight years ago, I was suffering excruciating pain. I have osteoarthritis in my back, hands, shoulder, neck, knees and feet. Eight years ago I was at my wits end; I simply couldn’t face another day in pain.

magnetic therapist and pain nurse specialistMy back was my worst area at the time. I struggled with the pain in other areas of my body, but there wasn’t a single action that I could do without my back hurting, the pain was constant 24/7.
I was still working as a community nurse and driving from patient to patient coupled with the steps and stairs, plus helping the patients themselves made my back pain intolerable. It wasn’t very long before I was unable to walk.

My GP sent me for an x-ray which showed that my discs were collapsing and constantly pressing on my nerves which caused the constant stabbing and burning pain in the back and down my leg. His opinion was that I would be wheelchair bound within 2 years. I was only 49 years old at the time and the news came as a devastating blow.

Stuck at home unable to walk my collie dog or drive or garden, I became very self-absorbed and depressed. I really didn’t think that there was any hope for me at all. My life seemed like an endless road of misery stretching out before me.

One Day, An Envelope Through The
Letterbox Changed My Life Forever!

The letter talked about magnetic therapy. I had never heard about it before and was extremely sceptical. It professed to relieve arthritic pain. As a trained nurse, I found it hard to believe the claims that it made.
I would normally have thrown it in the bin and dismissed it with contempt, but something stopped me. I had hit rock bottom and I couldn’t have been more desperate for pain relief, so I decided to give it a try, what could I lose?  There was a money back guarantee so I thought if it disappointed me by having no results, at least I would get my money back.

Imagine my surprise when three weeks later I could bend down and put my shoes on, without screaming in agony. I had worn a thin belt with magnets inside for around 2 ½ weeks and my pain was subsiding. It was still there but dulled and no longer stabbing or burning. I could move at last! Over the next 6 weeks my back went from strength to strength, and eventually was completely pain free.

Today, I use the Magnopain Back Pain Relief Package which includes drinking magnetised water and a magnetised mattress pad. I can honestly say if it wasn’t for the Magnopain Magnetic Therapy Back Pain Relief Treatment Package I would most definitely be in a wheelchair now. I have my life back again and I have no intention of ever living without the Back Pain Relief Package again.

Magnetic products for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis

Hello,
I suffer from multiple sclerosis and would like to try using magnets to help with my circulation and pain relief. Will they help? Are they the ones you stick on with plasters? Thanking you in anticipation for your help.
Regards
Mary Bannister

Hello Mary

Thank you for your email.

Medical Magnets can definitely help with the symptoms and effects of Multiple Sclerosis, specially the pain and stiffness.

A lot of people that suffer with this condition have problems with their lower legs and feet being cold all the time due to  poor circulation to those areas.

There is usually a lot of stiffness, pain and immobility associated with MS as well. Magnetic therapy can help with this but it usually takes time and higher amounts (strongest possible therapeutic magnets) of magnets to treat effectively.

To treat the lower leg, I would advise using the magnetic therapy foot, ankle and lower leg treatment package. This contains a pair of magnetic insoles, a magnetic water wand and a magnetic bed pad.

magnetic therapy foot, ankle and lower leg pain relief treatment package

You can wear the magnetic insoles all day, changing them from shoe to shoe as you go. The magnetic bed pad should be positioned in the bed so that your lower legs are resting on the magnets and the water wand can be used to magnetise all of your cold drinks.

This will dramatically increase the circulation to the lower leg area improving mobility, easing pain and reducing stiffness.

If you want to treat other areas you will need other magnets for those specific areas.

Can Magnetic Therapy Help With Cerebral Palsy?

Hi,
I was born with mild cerebral palsy and also have arthritis, osteoartritis and servere sciatic pain. I am on 6 types of medications per day and still have constant pain.
Can magnetic therapy help to rrelieve my pain? Sue Oppenauer

Hi Sue,

I think what you really need to treat all your pain areas are a magnetic mattress cover, a magnetic back belt and a magnetic water wand. This will be a suitable pain relief treatment to begin with, focusing on your back and sciatica pain. You haven’t really gone into much detail regarding your other problems and where you suffer with your pain. So I am focusing on your back and sciatica pain.

magnetic back beltThe magnetic mattress cover will be good for helping your whole body, it will be specifically good for areas like the upper and lower back, hips, thighs, knees, lower legs and feet. It will also help by improving your circulation and it is a brilliant and effective way of using magnetic therapy to treat severe and chronic conditions.

BUT it works best when used with magnetic products during the day as well to help maintain the absorption of magnetism and allow for more effective natural pain relief. Because you mentioned your back pain and sciatica I would recommend you wear a magnetic back belt during the day. This can be worn low down over the lower back and hips so that it can treat the cause area of your sciatica. Initially you should wear the back belt 24/7.

Drinking magnetised water is a superb way to reduce the time it takes to feel the benefits and increase the overall effectiveness of the treatment by up to 10 times in some cases. Using a magnetic water wand to magnetise all of your cold drinks will allow the body to rapidly absorb magnetism from the inside as well as from the magnets on the outside of the body. It doesn’t interfere with any medication or alter the taste, colour or smell of the water. It is 100% natural.

Kat
