Q: Hello Sanj,
I suffer from pain between my left shoulder blade and spine
arising from muscle spasm. My chiropractor cannot diagnose
the cause and thinks it is referred from my neck. I have been
seeing an NHS shoulder specialist and following physio, X ray
and CT scan the cause has not been established. I had an MRI
scan last month but at the specialist's insistence it was
confined to the shoulder only. I await the outcome of this
still. Can you advise me of a product of appropriate strength
I can order. I don't want to wear a necklace and an arm strap
looks uncomfortable. Is there a wrist band/strap that would
do the job or does the product need to be on or very near the
pain source. Many thanks in advance.

Hi David,
Thanks for your query.
The shoulder can be tricky to treat if you are not
comfortable wearing a
shoulder support or a necklace.
There are 2 alternatives which you could try alone or
in-conjunction with
each other. You could stick individual super strength magnets
around the shoulder in a circular pattern that circles the
epi center of your pain. You would most probably need between
4-6 super magnets for this depending on how large the area of
pain is. Each magnet should be at least 2,000 gauss but
between 2500-3000 gauss would be better. The only drawback of
taping these magnets is that you must remove them for washing
and then replace afterwards. ( you can obtain 2,600 gauss
magnets from us by calling 0800 612 1346)
The other option is to sleep on a magnetic pillow, where your
shoulder would be in contact with the pillow during the
night. It is best to use magnets 24 hours a day 7 days a week
initially but if you can not bear to wear anything during the
day this is an option. Night time is when the body does most
of its healing so if you are only going to use magnets for
part of the day, the night time would be best.
You could wear the super magnets taped around your shoulder
and also use
the pillow which would dramatically increase the strength and

Hi David,
The Constable would be most suitable as it is stainless steel
and has
3,000 gauss magnets . It comes in a standard 18 inch length
but can be
altered to any size.
